News & Needs

We are building a recovery neighborhood and are planning to expand our treatment facilities, transitional housing, mothers with children facility and our Safe Haven. We need your help.

VOLUNTEERS: We are completing our efficiency apartments and soon to be clearing abandoned home sites for new homes to be erected. We need land levelers, tree trimming service, construction workers, painters, plumbers, electricians, and many others. Volunteers are needed to pull these worthwhile and much needed projects together. Please phone the office at 318.323.0502 to offer any assistance you can. Regular volunteers undergo training that is held at our Administration building at 215 Arkansas Avenue, Monroe, Louisiana.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT: We have been awarded grant dollars for our recovery neighborhood. The actual costs will be above the grant allotment. Any financial assistance will be appreciated. PLEASE USE THE PAY PAL BUTTON TO DONATE ONLINE NOW to help our efforts.

RAYS OF SONSHINE IS GROWING. We have new facilities, been awarded grant dollars, and have new developments happening all of the time.

The Zone is now handing out over 600 bags of groceries every Friday morning.

TANGIBLE NEEDS: Can goods, kitchen towels and wash cloths, and kitchen items.

CHURCHES: Consider bringing your church group or bible study. Put the gospel into action; build the house on the rock. Pastors please contact us to make this an outreach to some of the neediest in our city an expression of the whole Body of Christ.
